Tipp senden

If you have information that could help Trendlogik readers better understand Swedish news, politics, economics, culture or society, we want to hear from you. This page explains how to send a tip, what we look for, and how we handle your submission. Our goal is to turn your insights into trustworthy journalism that serves the public interest.

What makes a good tip for Trendlogik?

We are looking for tips that shed light on policy developments, public-interest stories, and newsworthy events in Sweden. This includes developments in the Riksdagen (the Swedish parliament), the government (regeringen), municipal politics, economic and business news (wirtschaft), as well as culture and society. A good tip often involves a concrete angle, supporting documents or data, and a clear connection to Swedish readers or international audiences interested in Sweden.

We prioritise stories that are underreported, that challenge spin or oversimplification, and that help readers grasp complex issues. If your tip reveals a discrepancy in a public budget, a potential conflict of interest, or a cultural trend with wider implications, we want to see it. Every tip is reviewed by our editorial team, including Chefredaktör Andreas Klein and the dedicated fact-checking desk led by Miriam Bergmann.

How can you share a tip with us?

You can send your tip to tips@trendlogik.de. For time-sensitive or general news tips, you may also use newsdesk@trendlogik.de. For press-related inquiries, use press@trendlogik.de. All emails go to our editorial team and are handled confidentially.

When you write, please include: your name and contact details (if you are willing to be contacted), a clear summary of the information, and any supporting documents, links, or sources. The more context you can provide, the faster we can assess the story. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can still submit – but a way to reach you for follow-up questions helps us verify the information and avoid errors.

How does Trendlogik verify your tip?

After you send a tip, it goes to our standards desk, overseen by Miriam Bergmann, our fact-checking lead. She and her team follow strict verification procedures described in our fact-checking policy and sources and standards guide. We check documents, contact primary sources, cross-reference with public records, and consult subject-matter experts before publishing.

Every article published by Trendlogik is reviewed by a human editor, as stated in our editorial policy. Our fact-checking team is independent from commercial pressures. All sponsored or commercial content is clearly labelled, in line with our advertising and affiliate disclosure.

What about confidentiality?

We take source protection seriously. If you ask for confidentiality, we will not disclose your identity to anyone outside the editorial team without your permission. We may still need to verify the information you provide, but we will do so without revealing you as the source. If you have concerns about legal or professional repercussions, please mention them in your message, and we can discuss options.

Trendlogik is owned and operated by Trendlogik Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). Our funding comes from display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, and content licensing – but these relationships never determine editorial conclusions. For full details, see our ownership and funding statement.

What happens after you submit a tip?

Once your tip is received, our newsdesk team (led by Redaktionschef Vanessa Lehmann) reviews it for relevance and newsworthiness. If it fits our editorial focus, it is assigned to a reporter, who begins fact-checking and reporting. Miriam Bergmann’s team runs source verification. The editorial process may take from a few hours to several weeks, depending on complexity.

If we decide not to pursue the story, we may not be able to reply to every submission, but we do our best to acknowledge receipt. If a tip leads to a published article, we may contact you for further details or to inform you of publication. If you believe we have made an error in reporting, please send a correction request to corrections@trendlogik.de; our corrections policy explains how we handle such requests.

How this works in practice

Imagine you notice that a municipal council in a small Swedish town has approved a contract with a company that lacks the required environmental permits. You gather the public meeting minutes and a copy of the tender documents. You send a concise email to tips@trendlogik.de with a summary and attachments. Our newsdesk assesses the tip, assigns it to Politikredaktör Stefan Vogel, who contacts local officials and opposition members. Miriam Bergmann’s team verifies the permits and cross-checks the contract against public procurement rules. After fact-checking and editorial review, the story is published with clear sourcing and a note that the tip came from a reader. If any corrections are needed later, we update the article and log the change under our corrections policy.

In short

If you have a story that matters for Swedish readers, we want to know. Send your tip to tips@trendlogik.de, including as much context as possible. We will treat it with care and thorough verification, and we will protect your confidentiality if you request it.
