Werbe- & Affiliate-Hinweise

This page explains how Trendlogik’s journalism is funded and what that means for you as a reader. Whether you follow a link to a product or see an advertisement next to an article, we want you to understand the financial arrangements behind our work and be able to make informed decisions about the content you consume.

How does Trendlogik fund its journalism?

Trendlogik generates revenue through display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. None of these money‑making activities determines what we publish or how we report a story.

Our editorial mission – trustworthy Swedish journalism that helps readers understand complex issues without spin or oversimplification – is protected by a strict separation between commercial and editorial functions. Commercial teams never influence story selection, angle, tone or publication timing. Every sponsored or commercial piece is clearly labelled, and affiliate links are disclosed within the article or immediately next to the link. For details on how we handle sponsored material, please see our sponsored content policy and the broader ownership and funding overview.

What does an affiliate link look like and how does it affect you?

When we mention a book, service or product that we believe is relevant to a story, we may include a link that earns Trendlogik a small commission if you make a purchase. You pay the same price; the commission never changes our editorial judgment.

Affiliate links are always marked with a clear disclosure – for example, “(affiliate link)” or “(commission earned)” – and are checked by our editors to ensure they are relevant to the article. Our fact‑checkers also verify that any product recommendation is based on genuine editorial merit, not financial incentive. If we have a direct commercial relationship with a company named in an article, that relationship is disclosed in the piece or in a separate editorial note. You can read more about our general approach to commercial ties in our editorial policy.

How this works in practice

Imagine we publish a guide to electric‑vehicle charging in Sweden. The article compares three popular wall‑box models and includes a link to each manufacturer’s website. One of those links is an affiliate link from which Trendlogik may earn a commission if a reader buys the charger. The article’s author, Sabine Böhm (Wirtschaftreporter), wrote the guide based on independent testing and price comparison; the presence of the affiliate link did not affect which charger she recommended or how she described its pros and cons. The affiliate disclosure is placed directly after the link, and the article carries an editor’s note confirming that no payment was received from any of the manufacturers. This is the same process that applies to every affiliate‑linked article on the site, regardless of subject or category.

Who owns Trendlogik and how is it governed?

Trendlogik is owned and operated by Trendlogik Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). The company’s registered office is Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000, and its main phone number is +356 2138 9009. Editorial control rests entirely with the Swedish newsroom under Chefredaktör Andreas Klein.

Our funding structure is transparently documented on the ownership & funding page, which lists all current investors, revenue sources and any significant commercial relationships. No single advertiser or partner has a veto over content, and our editorial independence is guaranteed by the company’s statutes. The editorial team, led by Redaktionschef Vanessa Lehmann, makes all final decisions about what to publish, when to publish it and how to handle corrections. For more about the people behind the site, see About Us.

How can I get in touch about advertising or partnerships?

If you are interested in advertising on Trendlogik, sponsoring our newsletter or exploring a commercial partnership, please write to advertising@trendlogik.de or partnerships@trendlogik.de. Our commercial team will respond within two working days and will always disclose the nature of any proposed relationship upfront.

In short

Trendlogik is funded by advertising and affiliate partnerships, but those relationships never dictate what we write. Every article is independently researched, fact‑checked and approved by a human editor before publication, and every commercial arrangement is clearly disclosed so you can navigate our site with confidence.
